Coordinating Committee of the Black Community (Topeka, Kan.)
The Coordinating Committee of the Black Community (CCBC) was founded in 1968 in Topeka, Kansas to "provide an organized means through which black people [could] speak out on all issues relating to minorities." The CCBCs goals included coordinating affairs and activities within the community, developing resources available to the community, promoting unity, and helping black organizations implement projects and programs.
