Rawson, Samuel (American cabinetmaker, 1786-1852)
Born in 1819, Samuel Rawson came to Australia in 1838 aboard the Florentia. After trying sheep farming he obtained a commission in the Army in 1839, and went to India with his regiment in 1842.
