Stone, Robert W. (Robert William), 1910-1985
Robert W. Stone was a member of Penn State's faculty for 37 years. He conducted extensive research in bacterial physiology, silage fermentation, and penicillin production, but was best known for his work on the bacterial modification of hydrocarbons.
