Brown, Frederic Joseph
Frederic J. Brown was a United States (U.S.) Army officer. He was a colonel, division artillery officer in the 3rd Armored Division; student and faculty member, National War College; colonel and brigadier-general, Deputy G-3 for Plans and Operations and Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations, European Command and U.S. Army, Europe; major-general, 3rd Armored Division; and lieutenant-general, V (5th) Corps and Sixth (6th) Army and chairman, Board of Inquiry, Army Logistics System.
