Stark, Laneda Amundson, 1910-2007.
Laneda "Lonnie" Stark was born in Minneota, Minnesota, on October 13, 1910, the daughter of Ferdinand and Cora (Christiansen) Amundson. As a young woman in 1930, she worked as a servant for a family in Payette, Idaho. She served in the Women's Army Corps (WAC's) during World War II. Her brother Leonard worked for Haynes, Inc. in Bozeman, and Laneda became close friends with Lida Haynes. Laneda married Otto Stark in Bozeman in 1950. The couple moved to Butte, where Otto worked as a truck driver and as a gas station attendant. He died in 1970. She continued to live in Butte, and was active in the American Legion, until her death on February 6, 2007.
