McLean, Arthur John, 1894-1938.

Born in Seattle, WA, Oct. 29, 1894. Educated at Reed College (B.A., 1921) and Johns Hopkins Medical School (M.D., 1925). Trained as neurosurgeon with Harvey Cushing in Boston, MA (1927-1928), and Otfried Foerster in Germany (1929-1930). Chief of neurosurgery at University of Oregon Medical School from 1931-1937; Assistant Professor of pathology at UOMS, 1936-1938. Died Dec. 7, 1938, in a car accident.
