Boulder City Town Company.
The first settlers to Boulder organized to form an association whose purpose was to establish a townsite. The members divided up 1,280 acres of land along Boulder Creek stretching east from the mouth of Boulder Canyon for two miles into 4,044 lots, each 50 feet wide and 140 feet deep. Each shareholder received 18 lots in a drawing and the rest went on sale at $1,000 each.
