Mitsubishi Motor Manufacturing of America
The Mitsubishi Motors manufacturing plant was opened in 1985 as a joint venture with Chrysler Corporation under the name Diamond-Star Motors Corp. By 1995, Mitsubishi had bought out Chrysler's share in the company and renamed it as Mitsubishi Motor Manufacturing of America.
