Dennis, Ralph B. (Ralph Brownell), 1876-1942
Dean, Northwestern University School of Speech, 1919-1942. Dennis undertook the development, expansion, and modernization of the School of Speech at Northwestern University. During his tenure as dean, curricular innovations included the establishment of a childrens theater program, a speech clinic, a radio department, and the National High School Institute.
