Collins, Eunice, 1893-
Eunice Collins (b. 1893) was in Alaska from 1919 to 1949. She spent most of her working career at the Alaska Agricultural College and School of Mines (now University of Alaska Fairbanks), where she served as secretary to president Charles Bunnell and in other capacities. Eunice's father, Charles W. Thrift, hiked the trail from Valdez to Fairbanks, Alaska, in 1902. Her brothers William and Leonard Thrift worked in Interior Alaska in 1911-1913, and her sister Nellie Thrift spent the years 1911-12 in Fairbanks. Some of the photographs in the collection came from these family members.
