North Carolina College Conference
Organized in 1920 to attempt to solve some of the many problems confronting institutions of higher learing in the state; composed mainly of college presidents with one additional representative from each campus and several state government officials concerned with educational problems; ca. 1965 absorbed by the North Carolina Association of Colleges and Universities.
