Corrigan, Jones Irwin Joseph, 1878-1936.
Jesuit, ethicist and lecturer.
Corrigan entered the Society of Jesus in 1897 and was ordained a priest in 1912. He came to Boston College in 1916 as a professor of ethics and later served as Head of the Department of Ethics and Sociology. Corrigan was active in many social issues of his day and delivered numerous public lectures and radio addresses on Catholic ethics and its application to social and economic problems.
