Shields, William Walker.
A West Texas cotton farmer. Held lands in Collingsworth County, Texas, and eastern New Mexico. His wife was afflicted with tuberculosis in the early 1930s. Later on he moved to Roseos, Texas, and was involved with the Boys' Club there.
