Ross, Joseph., d 1967

Joseph Ross (d 1967) was Organising Officer and Deputy Camp Chief of the Boy Scout Association in the Central Provinces, India, in the early twentieth century. His headquarters were in Jabalpur. He was involved with youth work when he was seconded to the Young Men's Christian Association, and befriended many missionaries. He left India in 1924, returning to Aberdeen, Scotland. He returned to his original career as an accountant, but taught at Sunday Schools, collecting as much information as he could on missionaries associated with Aberdeen. Ross died around 1967.
