Brandt, Raymond P. (Raymond Peter), 1896-1974
Raymond P. Brandt was born on June 6, 1896 in Sedalia, Missouri. He was a reporter for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, 1917 and 1919; American Relief Administration, Vienna, Austria, 1920; District Supervisor, American Relief Administration, Vitebsk, Russia, 1922 to 1923; Correspondent at the Washington Bureau of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, 1923; Chief of the Washington Bureau, 1934 to 1961; and Contributing Editor for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, 1962 to 1967. He died in 1974.
