Winchendon Woman's Club (Winchendon, Mass.)

Winchendon Educational Club of Winchendon was organized in 1898 by a group of women in Winchendon, Mass.; name was changed in 1905 to Winchendon Woman's Club. The first annual meeting was held April 14, 1898 and at that time it joined the General Federation of Women's Club; supported civic and educational programs and other local activities. The club celebrated its centennial in 1998 but because of decreasing membership and lack of interest, the group ceased to exist ca. 2000.
