Spokane, Portland and Seattle Railway Company.
Incorporated in 1905 under the laws of Washington State, the company (first named the Portland and Seattle Railway Company) changed its name in 1908. It operated numerous lines between Washington State and Oregon, and also owned the Oregon Trunk Railway Company, the Oregon Electric Railway Company, the United Railways Company, the Ruth Realty Company, and the Spokane, Portland and Seattle Transportation Company. It was owned jointly by NP and the Great Northern Railway Company.
