Meek family.

Residents of Columbus, Mississippi; family members include Col. Samuel C. Meek and Mary Louise (Maynie) Cannon Meek and their eleven children: William Cannon Meek (1857-1923), Carrie Meek Sessums (Mrs. Battle K.), Susie Meek Bolton (d. 1928), Julia Meek Gerety, Samuel M. Meek, Alice A. Meek, and A.B. Meek who lived in South Carolina. Seth Meek (son of A.B. Meek) owned the Meek-Hutto Lumber Company in Newberry, S.C., and was involved in South Carolina politics.
