Whaling vessel, out of Fairhaven, Mass., mastered by Benjamin Stowell (13 May 1867-18 Aug. 1867), Jonathan Jenney (17 June 1868-17 Sept. 1868), and Loring Braley (23 Nov. 1868-30 Sept. 1870), on voyage 13 May 1867-18 Aug. 1867, 28 Aug. 1867-17 Sept., 1868, and 23 Nov. 1868-30 Sept. 1870 to the Hatteras, Charleston, Cornell, San Antonio, Tristan, and Coast of Africa whaling grounds; owner-agent: Obed F. Hitch; built at Portsmouth, N.H., 1855.
