O'Meara & Painter
San Francisco firm formed by John O'Meara and Jerome B. Painter in 1854 at 132 Clay St. O'Meara, who was elected State Printer in September 1857, died in 1860, Painter formed Painter & Company, which became one of the leading type foundries in the country.
