Third-ranking Democratic member of Committee on Interstate and Foreign Commerce, chairman of its Commerce and Finance Subcommittee, and member of Subcommittee on Legislative Oversight. Sponsor of annual Washington, D.C. educational tour for handicapped and underprivileged school children.
