Homosexual Law Reform Society of the A.C.T.
The Homosexual Law Reform Society of the A.C.T. was founded on 27 July 1969, by Michael Landale, a solicitor, and Thomas Mautner, a university lecturer. Its aims were to advocate that all sexual conduct between consenting adults in private should be beyond the scope of the criminal law, and to oppose the provisions of the draft criminal code in this area. The society ceased to exist about 1972.
