Alabama Board of Electrical Contractors

The Board was created by the Alabama Legislature in 1985. See the 1975 Ala. Code 34-36-1 to 34-36-17. The purpose of the Board is to safeguard homeowners and other property owners and tenants against inadequate or unsafe electric installations through the testing and licensing of electrical contractors.
