Beaumont, Albanis, 1755-1812
British painter. Between 1787 and 1806 Albanis de Beaumont published views of the south of France, the Alps and Italy. Of Italian birth, he was naturalized in England and in 1780 became tutor to the children of the Duke of Gloucester.
