Glasgow Archaeological Society (learned society: 1856-: Glasgow, Scotland)
Glasgow Archaeological Society was founded in 1856 to help raise public awareness of the importance of archaeology. The Society holds lectures at the University of Glasgow , publishes a journal biannually, and provides research grants to its members.
