Leach, James
James Leach worked as a professional photographer in Ann Arbor throughout the 1930s, 40s and 50s. Over the course of this career, he saved a number of negatives of Southeastern Michigan local businesses, organizations, and prominent individuals. While the bulk of Leach's work was made up of private studio portraiture, a number of the photos document the region's commercial architecture, advertisements, and social culture of the period.
