Ware, Louisa Jackson, 1853-1938
Louisa Jackson, youngest daughter of John R. and Matilda Jackson, was born in the old family home on Jackson Prairie, central Lewis County, Washington, on May 11, 1853, and lived near there practically all her life. She was married to Josiah G. Ware, a former Illinois farmer, on July 4, 1888 at the Chehalis Hotel. Louisa died on January 16, 1938, at age 84 and is buried in the Fern Hill Cemetery, Chehalis, Washington.
John Robinson Jackson (1804-1873) was the first American settler in Western Washington State.
