Chamberlin, Stephen J. (Stephen Jones), 1889-1971

Stephen J. Chamberlin was a United States (U.S.) Army officer. He was a brigadier general, G-4 and Chief of Staff, U.S. Army Forces, Australia; brigadier general and major general, G-3, General Headquarters (GHQ), Southwest Pacific Area (SWPA), and General Headquarters, U.S. Army Forces, Pacific; G-3 and Chief of Staff, Supreme Headquarters, Allied Powers, Pacific; and lieutenant general commanding the Fifth (5th) Army.
