Swift, William P.
Swift enlisted Oct. 2, 1861, in Company B, 100th Regiment of New York Volunteers. On November 24, 1862, he was assigned duty in the corps hospital in Washington. He was discharged from his re-enlistment on April 4, 1866, and entered his father's mechanical shop business. He married Miss Maria S. Ewell on September 18, 1866.
