Chicago Colorado Colony. Executive Council.
Colorado agricultural colony organized in Chicago, Ill. Nov. 22, 1870. Locating committee visited Colorado Jan. 1871 and chose a site in Boulder County, the center of which became the town of Longmont. Colonists began to arrive Mar. 1871.
