Cartoonist. Received B.A. in Political Science from College of the Pacific (1944). Cartoonist for "Pacific Weekly" and "Stockton Record" (1940-1944). Served with U.S. Marines in South Pacific (1944-1945). Studied with watercolorist Dong Kingman at San Francisco Art Institute (1945-1947). Editorial cartoonist with "San Francisco Chronicle" (1953-1968). Joined "News-room" program at KQED-TV during newspaper strike (1968). Died (1970).
