Farrier, Maurice H.

Maurice Hugh Farrier received a B.S. in Zoology and Entomology in 1948 and a Masters degree in Entomology in 1950, both from Iowa State College. Farrier subsequently earned a Ph.D. in Entomology from North Carolina State College (University) in 1955. That same year, he was appointed Assistant Professor at North Carolina State in the Department of Entomology. In 1960, Farrier was promoted to Associate Professor of Entomology, and in 1961, he became Associate Professor of Entomology and Forestry. In 1971, Farrier was promoted to full professor. He retired in 1991.
