Whaling vessel, out of New Bedford, Mass., mastered by Thomas B. Peabody (until his suicide on 5 June 1854) and then first mate Beriah C. Manchester, on voyage 13 Oct. 1853-1 May 1856 to the Cornell whaling grounds; owner-agent: Benjamin Beal Howard; built at Charlestown, Mass., 1827.
