Patrick family.
The Patrick family was responsible for establishing businesses that either invested in or operated mining companies such as the Patrick Red Sandstone Company (1891), Forward Mining Development Company (ca.1904), Patrick Investment Company (1906). The business offices for the various companies were located in Denver, Colo. while the physical operations for the sandstone quarries were located in Lyons and Beach Hill, Colo. The family also owned and operated mining properties in Colo., Nev. and N.M.
