Massachusetts. State Bookstore
The state secretary is responsible for the publication and distribution of published laws and distribution of annual state agency reports known as public documents (MGLA c 5). From at least 1892 much of this responsibility was carried out by the Document Division, known from ca. l921 as the Public Document Division. That unit was succeeeded in the late l970s by the State Bookstore, which also distributes the Code of Massachusetts Regulations.
