Harwood family.

The Harwood Family has had many prominent members, among them are: Andrew Allen Harwood (1802-1884), great grandson of Benjamin Franklin, who served in the U.S. Navy and retired with the rank of Rear Admiral in 1874; George Spencer Wilson (1842-1897), who also served in the military and was Major and Assistant Adjutant General, U.S. Army at the time of his death; and Winifred Lee Lewis (1878-1943), who graduated from Stanford and was a chemist.
