Scott, Verna Golden, 1876-1964.
Verna Golden was born in River Falls, WI. In 1904 her husband, Carlyle Scott, received an appointment to teach music at the University of Minnesota. In 1919, Verna Scott was appointed director of the University Concert Course, which was later renamed the Artist's Series. She was involved in organizing concerts for Northrop Memorial Auditorium as well as other localvenues. She retired in 1944.
