Coles, Mahlon M.
Mahlon M. Coles was the sole proprietor of a carriage-making shop in Colestown, New Jersey from 1842-1892. The town was named after Samuel Coles, an ancestor of Mahlon M. Coles, who bought 1,000 acres there in 1685. Colestown is now a part of the township of Cherry Hill, New Jersey.
