University of Guelph. Conservatory Renovation and Gardens Development Project.
Designed by Lord and Burnham of St. Catharines, ca. 1931, the conservatory is one of the few remaining pagoda-like glass structures in North America. The conservatory greenhouse is a restoration project celebrating OAC 125th anniversary. It also received an "Award of Merit - Institutional for an outstanding model of an architectural conservatory gem restored by painstaking craftsmanship and dedicated alumni in 1999"
