Whaling vessel; out of New Bedford, Mass., mastered by Ray Green Sanford (died of injuries on Nov. 1841) then replaced by Slocum on voyage from 29 Sept. 1840-29 Apr. 1842; owner-agent: William R. Rodman; built at Saco, Me. in 1825.
