Ossington, John Evelyn Denison, Viscount, 1800-1873
John Evelyn Denison was a British politician holding office for more than fifty years. He was Speaker of the House of Commons, and a friend and ally to many significant conservatives of his day. He was made Viscount Ossington in 1872, a title which ended with his death.
