Related branches of the family of William and Mary Taylor, with members residing in New York State, Pennsylvania, Iowa, and elsewhere. William and Mary Taylor were natives of Cambridge, England, who relocated to America following their marriage in 1794. The couple had eleven children, one of whom, Martha Elizabeth Taylor, married General Henry James Genet in 1826.
