Clergy and Laity Concerned (U.S.)

Clergy and Laity Concerned (CALC) is a nationwide, multi-racial network of people of faith and conscience who believe that moral/ethical/religious values must be brought to bear on problems of political, economic, and social injustice. The organization was founded in 1965 for the purpose of opposing American involvement in Vietnam. Until 1972, the organization was called Clergy and Laymen Concerned about Vietnam.
