American Association of University Women. Pennsylvania Division. Philadelphia Branch.
The American Association of University Women incorporated in 1899 "for the purpose of uniting alumnae of different institutions for practical educational work, for the collection and publication of statistical and other information concerning education, and in general for the maintenance of high standards of education." Membership is open to women holding approved degrees from institutions accepted by the Association. The Philadelphia Branch, also known as the College Club of Philadelphia, was recognized in 1886.
