Hoyt, Fletcher.

This was the first out-of-country expedition undertaken by the Stanford Alpine Club, capping its first year's activities. The participants were Stanford and Berkeley students, most of whom were also Sierra Club members. The Stanford climbers were Ulf Ramm-Ericson, "Bud" Gates, and Fritz Lippmann; the Berkeley contingent included Robin Hansen (expedition leader), Fletcher Hoyt, Oscar Cook, Dick Houston, and Howard Parker.
