Tomholt, Sydney, 1884-1974
Sydney Tomholt was born in Melbourne in 1884. He spent time abroad before returning to Australia during the 1930s. He was a drama critic for the Sydney Morning Herald (1944-1951), literary agent and playwright. He researched Governor Macquarie for over twenty years.
