Physician, 1921-2004. Loeb received his medical degree from the Washington University School of Medicine in 1944. Joined the faculty of his alma mater in 1947, retiring as professor emeritus of clinical medicine. Joined the board of the American Cancer Society in 1979, serving as president in 1986-87.
