Sharp, Polly Petty.

Polly P. Sharp came to Alaska in the summer of 1941. She worked at Fort Richardson and for the Clerk of the District court before accepting a position as assistant Director of the Anchorage U.S.O., where she had been a volunteer. While living in Anchorage, she shared a house with several other women which became known as "The Bee Hive" and functioned as an unofficial auxiliary U.S.O. Polly P. Sharp left Alaska in the fall of 1944.
