Indiana Artists' Club
The Indiana Artists Club was organized in 1917 by a group of professional artists including members of the Hoosier Group. The club incorporated as a non-profit group in 1947. Its purpose was to promote the artistic interests of the club and the community, and its primary activity was an annual exhibit of members' works. It also assisted in the founding of the Indiana Federation of Art Clubs, and gave donations to Indiana schools and colleges and to other projects such as the T.C. Steele Memorial and the restoration of the murals at Marion County General Hospital.
