Burkill, I.H. (Isaac Henry), 1870-1965

Burkill was an English botanist and graduate of Cambridge University, who worked at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew and at the Botanic Garden at Calcutta. He was director of the Botanic Gardens, Singapore, 1912-1925 and was the author of: Dictionary of Economic Products of the Malay Peninsula (1935 and frequently reprinted).
